Being a competitive athlete, Zionna believed in the passion and commitment of the CrossFit community and knew together they could make a difference in the Breast Cancer cause. From this grassroots effort, the idea for the first Barbells for Boobs Amazing “Grace” event was developed and launched in 2009 successfully raising $4,000. In 2010, the landmark B4B event spread to 5 countries and 42 U.S. states with participation from over 5,000 athletes resulting in over $300,000 in fundraising and sponsorship support from Reebok and The CrossFit Journal. The 2011 Amazing Grace events will be bigger than ever and plan to exceed fundraising goals with an exciting Pink Bra Tour of 10 cities across 14 states in 31 days!
