In July 2011, MIA proudly began their grant distribution process to qualified organizations beginning with a $10,000 grant award to The Orange County Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure supporting seven (7) clinics in Orange County, CA with a MIA Fund for Breast Health Care Providers. Additional grant requests are continually being reviewed and will be allocated based on the MIA Grant Program application process. The fundraising goals for MIA in 2011 far exceed previous year’s efforts with the desire to provide support for thousands of people in need of screening and/or diagnostic procedures across the country, not just in Southern California.
